The Contract API provides a single operation that allows access to the final details (in practice, the final payment schedule) of the contract after it has been activated.

Key features

The single operation provides access to the final details on an activated contract. It can be called only after the partner has received a notification that the contract has actually been activated.

The contract end date, which is not returned specifically can be computed by adding the duration of the contract (durationInMonth) to the start date (startDate).

Please note that, despite the inclusion of the regular financing conditions (identical to that available on a quotation) in the service response, only a few of the fields are actually populated at this stage. The purpose of this API is to let the partner retrieve the final payment schedule after the contract is activated.

Events

The following events generate a notification (see Notification Subscription for details).

• Activated (the contract is activated, the final detailed data is ready to access)
• Cancelled (the contract has been cancelled in BPLS systems)

Use cases

After receiving a notification of its availability (once the contract has been activated), the partner may access the details of the contract after activation to get the effective dates of activation and end of contract, as well as the actual payment schedule put in place with the customer.
