Details on the Proposal information

Although the API specification includes the full object description for the financing conditions and the customer, as they are defined for the Quotation and Customer entities, respectively, the Proposal API only populates a subset of the information, as detailed here.

The field that can actually be populated (and are populated only if relevant) are:

The test cases provided through the sandbox cover the following scenarios.

Errors

Functional errors returned by the API

Create operation

  • UNKNOWN_CUSTOMER: the provided customer identifier is unknown
  • UNKNOWN_QUOTATION: the provided quotation identifier is unknown
  • INVALID_QUOTATION: the quotation is not ready for submission (some information is missing)
  • INVALID_CUSTOMER: the customer information is incomplete
  • CUSTOMER_NOT_ELIGIBLE_FOR_QUOTATION: the customer is not eligible for this quotation
  • SHIPPING_ADDRESS_NOT_ELIGIBLE: the shipping address is not acceptable for a proposal
  • INVALID_PARAMETER: another parameter is invalid

Get Purchase Order operation

  • CONTRACT_NOT_SIGNED: the purchase order is not available because the contract has not been signed yet
  • PURCHASE_ORDER_NOT_READY: the purchase order is not available yet, a notification will be sent to the partner when it is ready
