Value proposition

The Proposal API handles all the services after submission of a quotation for a given customer, including the BPLS decisioning process for the acceptance or refusal of the financing request.

Key features

The creation service consists in submitting a quotation for decision. It requires to specify the customer requesting the financing and its contact information. Since the decisioning process is asynchronous, a notification is sent to the partner when its has been reached.

Another service allows access to a proposal, its status and the BPLS decision (when it has been reached).

Events

The following events generate a notification (see Notification Subscription for details).

• Decision reached (the financing request has been approved, rejected or held for further study by BPLS)
• Cancelled (the proposal has been cancelled in BPLS systems)
• In the future, expired (the proposal is no longer valid, after a set period, usually 90 days)

Use cases

The Proposal API is used when the customer has agreed to the conditions offered in a quotation. The proposal is then submitted for BPLS decision.

When the decision is reached, a notification is sent to the partner, who has then to query the proposal in order to retrieve the decision itself.
